Rebuilding Your Foundation
Residential treatment at Chelsea Manor is where the deeper work of recovery takes place. After the physical stabilization of detox, our inpatient program provides the structured, supportive environment you need to address the underlying causes of addiction and develop lasting coping strategies.
Our treatment approach combines evidence-based therapies with holistic wellness practices. Individual therapy sessions, group counseling, and experiential activities work together to help you understand your relationship with substances, process underlying trauma, and build the skills necessary for sustained recovery.
You will live in a comfortable bedroom within our residential facility in Orange, California. Chef-prepared meals, a calm daily rhythm, and a community of peers who understand your experience create a setting designed to foster genuine transformation.
A Typical Day
Structure is a cornerstone of early recovery. Our daily schedule balances therapeutic work with rest, nutrition, and personal time to support whole-person healing.
Morning Wellness
The day begins with gentle movement and mindfulness. Options include guided yoga, meditation, stretching, or a walk around the grounds. Morning wellness sets a calm, intentional tone for the therapeutic work ahead.
Group Therapy
Facilitated by licensed clinicians, group therapy sessions provide a space to share experiences, practice interpersonal skills, and learn from peers who understand the challenges of recovery. Topics rotate through CBT, DBT, relapse prevention, and process groups.
Individual Session
One-on-one therapy with your assigned clinician allows you to work through personal challenges in a private, confidential setting. Sessions are tailored to your treatment plan and may include trauma processing, cognitive restructuring, or motivational interviewing.
Holistic Activities
Afternoons offer experiential and holistic programming. Activities may include art therapy, music therapy, breathwork, nature walks, or fitness sessions. These activities complement clinical work by engaging the mind and body in new ways.
Evening Reflection
The day closes with a guided reflection or peer support group. This is a time to process the day's therapeutic work, practice gratitude, and prepare for restful sleep. Journaling prompts and quiet time are available for those who prefer solitary reflection.
